When someone hurts us we are always suggested to forgive them to move on and I wonder what's the link of forgiveness with moving on.
When someone disappoints you and becomes a misfit for your ideal expectations, you felt that you are punched in the face with the not so cool reality and that thing starts revolving around your head all day, all night, 24/7 you think about their mistakes.
And if you forgive them, you start viewing the situation with a better perspective rather than bitter one. Forgiveness makes you understand that the period written with this someone has ended and its time you let them go physically as well as mentally.
Because if we constantly point onto the bitterness of the reality, we will only put this negative weakness of our mortal being inside our head which effects adversely our health as it is stated whatever you feed your brain, brain will feed it to you, so if you are on this monologue in your head about someone else's mistakes, you will only worsen your health.
As soon you realize of that negative self chatter, consciously take control and drive your state to the person you are not the person who needs forgiveness from you. Infact when you forgive, you will realize how your brain has shifted itself to the brighter things in your life, to the stuff that is growing like the plant on your desk or your friend's baby, or even your professional career.
Make it a habit, as soon you are hit with a negative situation, look up to the brighter, well growing, positive, healthy, alive stuff. Even if you concentrate on the breathe you took, you will notice considerable uplift of your mood.
