Whenever I meet the city gaze,
I look up to a bird who knows,
where the home is,
But wants to know,
Where the flock is flying to,
Everytime I see this kind of flight,
I know out of your extrinsic curosity,
You will be lost with you intrinsic glow,
I know now you are interested in what the flock is upto,
But then you will realize,
You are following the wrong winds,
You knew all along where your heart wants to go,
And now you are confused and worried,
Because of the loans of your living,
Are too much to pay for the price of of your dreams,
You choose the loan and paid the price,
But how will you pay for your happiness now?
As now you have everything but happiness.
We live in an era where its getting more about your financial status, the latest car, exclusive watch, one in a season expensive dress, absolute beast of how much we can pay with how much we earn, I don't know why we are more focused on living a lavish lifestyle with a job that makes our bank balance x times instead of focusing on a job you know you are best at, the one you know you can be the happiest doing, may be less earning but more contended with whatever you have and how you are living.
I don't get it why we are shifting our mindsets towards materialism and we are suffocating our dreams on this so called status. I wish we could realize if you are not happy with what you are doing maybe its because you are not the person made for this kind of work, may be you are born for something more than this and maybe you know what that something is, the only problem is you cannot confess that you want to persue your dreams over this temporary luxurious life you have right now because that takes a lot of gut to leave your comfort zone.
